The Direct Sales Representative is responsible for acquiring new customers for a top telecommunications company in the region. Astound Broadband powered by Wave provides a competitive base salary, uncapped commissions, paid training, excellent benefit packages including 401k, generous paid time off plans, mileage reimbursement and a company issued cell phone. The direct sales representative will build relationships with residential customers within our serviceable footprint. 

Where you will work:

• This is a dynamic opportunity to represent our residential direct sales initiatives, in the field based around the Evansville, IN greater market
\n

A Day in the Life of the Direct Sales Representative, Single-Family:

\n
• Prospect, qualify, and generate sales within an assigned territory
\n
• Identify and sell appropriate products and services to meet the customer’s needs
\n
• Sales or marketing background in telecommunications a plus 
\n
• Engage in technical discussions with potential customers through demonstrations and presentations
\n
• Execute the sales strategy to increase sales within respective territories
\n
• Prepare sales information for customers
\n
• Distribute marketing material and participate in special sale events
\n
• Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments within the product/service line
\n
• Ability to work in a fast paced challenging environment
\n
• Enjoys working outdoors "on the hunt" since 90% of all work is in the field
\n
• Excellent communications, relationship building, organizational, presentation and influence skills
\n
• You have a positive, creative and persuasive personality
\n
• Must be a motivated, self-starter and comfortable with working autonomously
\n
• Must be detail oriented and has highly developed organizational and time management skills
\n
• You are sales-quota driven
\n
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
\n
• Proficient in Microsoft products 
\n
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Certifications:

\n
• High school diploma or equivalent
\n

*Base salary: The base salary range for this position in Indiana state is $40,000, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits, commission, and sales incentives if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, geographical area, experience, and capabilities. 

*Commission component: Targeted commissions at full attainment are $56,940 annually. Our sales total compensation offers the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.
