Project Manager, Public Policy Operations Description:
- Policy department partners with governments and community stakeholders in 180,000+ jurisdictions to shape fair, forward-thinking regulation.
- Within Policy, the Engagement & Infrastructure (E&I) group provides the data, tooling, and campaign infrastructure that empower teams to:
- Engage hosts, guests, regulators, and opinion leaders at scale
- Run targeted policy and grassroots advocacy campaigns
- Deliver real-time political intelligence to decision-makers
- The Project Manager, Public Policy Operations will unify project-management work across multiple areas of Policy Operations work. The focus is to ensure every policy tooling initiative, I.e.: Outbound communications; support requests; tooling/capability enhancement projects; land on scope, and with measurable impact.
Duties:
- Production Queue
- Own the global production queue for all Public Policy outbound communications (email, landing pages, in-product messages, etc.), ensuring the production team builds and delivers every asset on time, in scope, and aligned with brand/policy guidelines.
- Serve as the intake Air traffic controller for campaign requests. Evaluating briefs for completeness, prioritize based on impact and urgency, and allocate resources across copy production, and data segmentation.
- Proactively screen content to:
- Identify potential roadblocks (legal reviews, data-privacy constraints, localization issues) early enough to course-correct.
- Recommend data-driven A/B experiments, personalization tactics, or channel optimizations to improve engagement.
- Project Management
- Maintain and continuously refine Kanban/Sprint workflows (e.g., Jira, Asana) that provides real-time visibility for 150+ stakeholders across regions and functions.
- Produce concise daily/weekly queue reports highlighting status, blockers, and capacity forecasts; escalate risks to leadership with clear mitigation plans.
- Deliver briefs that summarize progress against OKRs, highlight success stories, and outline next steps.
- Stakeholder & Communications Management
- Function as the primary point of contact for regional Policy, Government Relations, and Comms teams. Hosting recurring syncs to surface requirements, share metrics, and align on priorities.
- Translate non-technical stakeholder requests into actionable project requirements for content and data teams.
- Tooling & Process Enablement
- Gather continuous feedback from end users, convert it into product backlogs, and partner with technical teams to test and launch enhancements that streamline the production queue.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of hands-on project or program management in policy, gov-tech, or highly regulated environments.
- Proven success coordinating distributed teams and user large bases (100+ end users) across multiple time zones.
- Demonstrated expertise with:
- Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) implementation and adoption
- Marketing automation / outbound communication platforms
- Political-intelligence or gov-relations tooling (e.g., Quorum)
- Strong analytical skills. Comfortable defining OKRs, building dashboards, and presenting data-driven recommendations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication. Able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Bonus: familiarity with data-visualization tools; experience in policy, lobbying, or campaign operations.
