Job Description
Our client, located in Toronto, is looking for a Controller to join their team!
You must have experience in Commercial Real Estate .
This is an ONSITE role. Your primary responsibilities will be planning, implementing, managing and controlling finance and accounting related activities of the company.
Here's what we're looking for:
✔ University Degree in Business or Accounting
✔ CPA designation required
✔ 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years focused on consolidated financial statements in the real estate sector ( commercial and residential)
✔ Advanced MS Excel skills and strong computer literacy
✔ Experience with real estate accounting systems, preferably Yardi Breeze Premier or Yardi Voyager
✔ Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
✔ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
✔ Self-starter with a proven ability to work independently under minimal supervision
✔ Comfortable managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines
