About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Investment Officer to join its executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the organization's lending strategy and execution, with a focus on achieving capital deployment and impact goals. This role is pivotal in leading a team of investment professionals to advance the company's investment strategy, make key connections, provide valuable advice, and deliver innovative financial solutions. The Chief Investment Officer will also be instrumental in formalizing organizational structures, providing strategic recommendations, and fostering a dynamic community development finance environment. Candidates for the Chief Investment Officer position at the company should possess a diverse background in commercial and industrial, real estate, mission-driven, and alternative investment management and/or lending. A deep understanding of enterprise and portfolio risk management, particularly in the context of a national service area, is essential. The role requires exceptional communication skills, a strong grasp of corporate finance concepts, and the ability to work collaboratively across all enterprise functions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading high-performing teams, be adept at problem-solving, and be comfortable making decisions with limited information.
