Description:

A member of KorTerra’s Software Development team, the Business Intelligence Analyst will collect, analyze, and report on data to meet our customers' reporting needs. The Business Intelligence Analyst will write reports that are customer-facing and specific to their needs using Microsoft Power BI and SQL.

Primary responsibilities:

• Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting based on customer needs.
• Organize large amounts of information and data and present to a diverse audience
• Identify opportunities for process change / improvement through reporting and analysis
• Incorporate data into technically accurate, easily understandable text and/or graphics
• Participate in other team projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience in a business or analytics-focused role, demonstrating strong analytical thinking and technical proficiency.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills , with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and stakeholders.
• Proficient in SQL , with hands-on experience in querying and analyzing data to support business decisions.
• Experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for data modeling and report development in Power BI.
• Familiarity with version control systems , particularly Git , for managing changes to Power BI reports and code.
• Exposure to Power BI Embedded , including integrating interactive reports into web applications or portals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field – or equivalent practical experience.
